Pete has coached thousands of students over the years — from complete beginners to national and international competitors — and is equally passionate about helping everyday people improve confidence, fitness and mindset. Academy Manager, Senior Coach & Ladies Coach Abigail Ward Abi plays a vital role in the day-to-day running of TKBA and is a hugely respected coach in her own right — particularly within our Ladies Kickboxing programme. With a strong focus on confidence, wellbeing and empowerment, Abi helps create a welcoming environment where members feel supported, understood and encouraged. Coach – Little Samurai & Juniors Lyndon Ward Born into the TKBA family and dojo, Lyndon has been immersed in martial arts from an early age and brings both experience and relatability to his coaching. He specialises in working with younger students, helping them build confidence, coordination, focus and respect — all while keeping sessions fun and engaging. James Collier James brings enthusiasm, structure and strong technical knowledge to his coaching, particularly within our junior programmes. He is passionate about helping young students develop both martial arts skills and important life skills such as teamwork, discipline and self-belief. Emma Philpot Emma is an assistant coach currently progressing through TKBA’s Instructor Training Programme, gaining hands-on experience while being mentored by the senior coaching team. She supports classes across the academy and is a positive, encouraging presence on the mats.
